Job Description: David is one of the original finding Directors of RocDoc and Festimed. As an ECP he is able to assess, diagnose and formulate treatment plans for a wide variety of patients with illnesses and injuries. In complex cases he is able to refer patients for further tests, examination or treatment as appropriate.
Qualification: Emergency Care Practitioner & CEO
Training: He has specialised in the area of Emergency and Unscheduled care and has a special interest in Muscular skeletal injuries and wound management. His Practitioner course encompassed Minor injuries and Minor Illness along with Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Mental Health, Pharmacology and Cardiology. He is the first practicing ECP in Ireland and indeed was one the early few trained ECPs within the UK.
Start of Career: He started his medical career in 2000 and qualified as an Emergency Care Practitioner in 2006 from St Georges Medical School, London.
Special Interest: Emergency and Unscheduled care, Sexual Health, Muscular skeletal injuries, wound management and Vaccinations / Travel Medicine.
External Interests: Event Medicine, planning and logistics.
Hobbies: Photography, cooking, Festivals and socialising!!!
